Design & Construction
Unlike standard, mass-produced saucer chairs of the era, this premium specimen was engineered for long-term structural integrity. The hand-woven natural rattan shell is uniquely built around an integrated, heavy-duty iron grid plate concealed beneath the seat. This robust metal core transfers weight seamlessly into a substantial, black enameled tubular steel underframe, which terminates in four elegantly splayed, tapered architectural legs. The result is an incredibly stable, ultra-wide lounge chair that delivers striking visual scale without compromising comfort.
